Discord “GIFs” usually come from Tenor, GIPHY, or as a user-uploaded file. The right download method depends on which one you’re seeing.
Case 1: It’s a Tenor/GIPHY embed
- Click the GIF to open its source (Tenor or GIPHY) if available.
- Use the dedicated tool: Tenor GIF Downloader or GIPHY Downloader.
- Download the original media (often MP4/WebP for stickers).
Case 2: It’s an uploaded GIF file
- Open the image in a new tab to reveal the direct file URL.
- Paste it into GIF Downloader and download.
